My name is Mike Casey and I teach Organic Chemistry at University College Dublin, Ireland.  I only discovered Jmol recently and am very impressed by its potential as an eductional tool.  I'm in the process of constructing a small site [http://www.ucd.ie/chem/molvis], which makes extensive use of Jmol, as a resource for first year students taking their first module of organic chemistry.  I have almost no experience of web design or of Javascipt, so the site is not very ambitious, nevertheless I hope it will be useful to the students.

I have much to learn from the Jmol community, and I would like to acknowledge the huge debt I already owe to the many people on whose work my efforts are based.  In particular, the documentation provided by Bob Hanson (remember me from Columbia Bob?) has been invaluable as I take my first steps with Jmol.  Thanks everyone.

My name is Mike Casey and I teach Organic Chemistry at University College Dublin, Ireland. I only discovered Jmol recently and am very impressed by its potential as an eductional tool. I'm in the process of constructing a small site Molevision, which makes extensive use of Jmol, as a resource for students taking their first module of organic chemistry. I have almost no experience of web design or of Java, so the site is not very ambitious, nevertheless I hope it will be useful to the students.
